*This* change I haven't committed to CVS, because it was just test code
for you. Please change in tramp.el, line 1790, from

);' \"$1\" \"$2\" \"$3\" 2>/dev/null"

to

);' \"$1\" \"$2\" \"$3\" 2>/tmp/456"
