Skipping ">" quoted line with pine

Is there any way to force aspell to skip forwards and replys in pine?

I.e. have it not check a line beginning with ">" or "|"?

Though I know aspell is not made just for pine, it would be a good addition 
if not there now, as there's isn't much need to check someone else's 
message (just your own reply).
