It's called AUCTeX, not AuCTeX.

According to the installation instructions you are not supposed to use
`(require 'tex-site)'. With XEmacs AUCTeX will be activated
automatically once installed.

I don't know where this comes from. What kind of environment are you
using for configuration?

What does the shell used for configuration return if you execute the
statement

Looks like Window's find utility is found in PATH before the one of
your build environment.
