the most obvious and compelling reason for submitting macros to the
GNU Autoconf Archive is that potential users of that code are more
likely to find it in the Archive, than they are to discover a small,
highly specialized website at code.google.com. Of course, the notion
that the benefit of others ought to be maximized is an altruistic
principle that does not necessarily motivate you, personally.
