silly issue: automake error message

With current CVS autoconf, running CVS automake gives:

223: bad macro name `release-archive-dir'

Makefile.in seems to be contructed correctly, so it's no
biggie, but I would prefer this to go away.  The attached
patch does this (by using underscores instead of hyphens).

        (release_archive_dir) this.
        * Makefile.maint: ditto
