I don't think there's anything wrong with your FreeBSD, it's
just that Diamex thingy is a bit strange.

As they only claim Windows support, it's really hard to tell
what they've done.

If you want, send me one over, and I'll analyze it. (I've got
a Windows + Atmel Studio somewhere in a VM.) Of course, I'll
return it to you afterwards.
