I posted it for review. I received some comments that I incorporated
(these are in bison) and resubmitted the patch. Zack Weinberg said
that he would review it and that's the last I've heard back. I guess
it slipped off his radar. In the interim I've been waylaid by the
start of my teaching year so I haven't chased him up. I'll do so now.
The "ansification" is going to be a sticking point. There is a
growing consenus that GCC should be ansified but the green light has
yet to be given.
