Eric once asked why m4 1.4.5 wouldn't be sufficient because that's all 
autoconf requires.  My feeling was that we should say 1.4.6 because that's 
what we've been saying and there may be some subtle reason that no one 
remembers.  But Eric knows m4 far better than I do.  I'm certainly open to 
further discussion.

By the way, Eric, do you have any more Bison work planned before we 
release 2.4?
