Yes, the VC6-built libraries are dlls/import libs.  When xpidl runs, XP
pops up the 'xpidl.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.'
dialog.  When stepping through xpidl.exe using gdb, xpidl segfaults at the
first call into glib-1.2.dll, g_hash_table_new and gdb says that it
"Cannot find bounds of current function".

I'm not sure.  How do I check that? Given that this is glib 1.2.2, I'm
going to guess so.
