It looks like a linker bug:

  [ 1] .text             PROGBITS        00000000 000034 000004 00  AX  0   0  1
  [ 2] .data             PROGBITS        00900000 000038 000004 00  WA  0   0  1

The address of .text is wrong. I think you should open a separate
bug.
