Bug #: 15356
Summary: BFD's decompress_contents can maybe leak memory
Product: binutils
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: binutils
AssignedTo: address@hidden
ReportedBy: address@hidden
Classification: Unclassified
BFD's compress.c:decompress_contents has a couple
of return paths that do not call inflateReset.
I think this can leak memory.
A simple fix seems to be replacing "return FALSE" with "break"
in both places it appears in the loop; or alternatively
calling inflateEnd before each return.
