Hi Nick,
yes, I've tried with 2.23 and it's same.
It appears that this happens only with 0-length sections(I assume this is a
kind of memory corruption).
Binutils were built inside x86_64 box. As soon as I have native x86_32 target
I'll try there as well.
The build configuration options are quite simple, just
--target=mipseb-unknown-linux-gnu
I'm trying to compile a simple test case but so far I can't reproduce this
issue except with the linux kernel.
I can attach the vmlinux image if it will help you.
