If my IP address is 1.2.3.4, I get the classes 1_2_3_4 and 1_2_3 defined.
I think it would be useful to also define 1_2 as well. To somehow define
the top level ("1") might also come in handy, but that's pretty vague and
I could see how it could be troublesome. Maybe "1_net" ?
