This would certainly allow additional scope for what can be provided. I
have never developed anything on sf though, so I don't know if their
services are so limited that they can be problematic.

Well going by the current setup, the following would seem about right:

  subversion/cvs
  apache (main cfengine.org site)
  mailman
  bugzilla
  mediawiki
  ftp for file downloads

Most of these all already currently exist, only slightly more scattered 
around the place as they are being hosted off independant servers. Is there
anything additional which sf offers above this? Only other thing I can
think of immediately is the compile farm. Given that cfengine doesn't
have an automated test suite and isn't supplied in a packaged format, is
this useful?
