------- Comment #6 from raif at swiftdsl dot com dot au 2006-08-10 21:04 ------- hello Edwin, let's assume for a moment that we change the code in the Engine class to throw a NoSuchAlgorithmException(msg) with a less cryptic message detailing the possible 6 causes for failure to return an algorithm class. let's further assume that we change the half-dozen or so high-level classes that call Engine to chain these exceptions with the ultimate NoSuchAlgorithm(name) exception they will throw for all installed providers. how does a programmer use this information to recover at runtime from such an exception? -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28678
