How about adding a gui to du?

Maybe you should read up on the de-facto UNIX philosophy
in documents such as http://www.faqs.org/docs/artu/ch01s06.html

Once having grasped this 'philosophy', you'll learn to appreciate
the aesthetics (if I may) of it.  The UNIX world will become clear
to you.  With it will come a hunbled attitude towards 'featuritis'.
