BUGREPORT and contribution offer: Building ddd from CVSMake under cygwin |

Hello,
I successfully built ddd-3.3.1 under the latest cygwin release.
Afterwards, I got the latest CVS snapshot and tried CVSMake, but
it failed for (at least) two reasons:
1.) The automake process (Building "configure" out of "configure.in")
failed. This may be due to missing libtool and may thus not be a bug.
Running aclocal on a Linux box, I got two errormessages:
automake: Makefile.am: required file `./ChangeLog' not found
configure.in: 268: required file `../ltconfig' not found
Can these messages be safely ignored? What can I do to fix them?
2.) the "lextoC" and "yacctoC" scripts assume that extensions "*.c"
and "*.C" are different, which is not the case on a Windows system,
so "*.C" overwrites "*.c" which leads to breaking the build process.
I would suggest to use "*.cpp" instead of "*.C" in this case.
If ddd maintainers like, I could write a fix for the second problem
and contribute it. Just let me know how I can contribute.
My final goal is to add support for Windows-pathnames like
"D:\mydir\mySource.cpp" to DDD. Do you know if anyone has tried \
this yet, and what sources might need to be changed?
Thanks in advance,
Martin
