[bug-enscript] building enscript from Git

Hi,

I’m trying to built enscript from the git repo, as

I’m uanble to build from the 2011 taraball.

I’m running Darwin Kernel Version 18.7.0 on an iMac,

using autoconf v 2.69

 I pulled enscript-0779ca6 from the repo at https://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=enscript.git;a=summary

Autoconf is complaining:

configure.ac:7: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE

      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.

configure.ac:40: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PROG_LEX

configure.ac:115: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GNU_GETTEXT

configure.ac:116: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION

 

The resultant configure file is unusable
