It's called "findutils".

No, not really.    But I don't know of any versions of Unix on which
it does not work, except for very old systems such as SunOS 4.   So
any reasonably recent POSIX system should be OK.   Also Cygwin, though
for that system I recommend you use the Cygwin binary since there may
be necessary patches for that platform.

Which specific platforms are you interested in?
