Explaining +/-n

I started working out the manual changes to address
http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49640

Because my setup is old, I figured I'd start trying out the new wording
using commit 1a009ccb from 2015-12-20. But the structure of that commit
is peculiar: the find.1 manual page is installed from
findutils/find/find.1, but that file is *not* generated from
findutils/doc/find.texi like you'd expect, it's a source file in the Git
archive. (Though that may be different from the structure of the latest
commit.)

Could someone fill me in on what is going on here? I'm reluctant to
believe that find.1 and find.texi are maintained separately, but that's
what it looks like.

Thanks,

Dale
