consistent line wrapping from msgattrib |

I'm trying to avoid style wars between developers but cannot find a
way to make .pot and .po files line wrapping consistent across
machines, despite all machines having the same gettext version.
What affects this operation turning the --width switch of msgattrib
not consistent ? Is it a bug or am I missing something ?
Here's an example input: http://strk.kbt.io/tmp/test.pot
When I run this command on it:
msgattrib --no-wrap test.pot | msgattrib --width 79 | grep "PostGIS 3"
I get either this:
"If you are running PostGIS 3 or above, then you should use the <xref
linkend="
Or this:
"If you are running PostGIS 3 or above, then you should use the <xref "
Depending on which machine I run the command on. On both machine the
output from msgattrib --version is:
msgattrib (GNU gettext-tools) 0.21

Thanks in advance for any hint
