I noticed ESC T == ESC t, and similarly for all the capital ESC
sequences? Is this for the convenience of the CAPS LOCK crowd of the
past? Oh, I see, it must be for Meta key ease. OK, but then again,
C-x O == C-x o etc. It seems so... non-elegant, to do this
automatically. Sure I bet in CAPS LOCK mode it is a real winner, and
yes, I'm not in dire need of expanding key bindings to this last North
Slope Reserve territory, but it seems so, inelegant. So maybe an
admission to its inelegantness in the manual would satisfy me,
[however I'm not sure what search string to use to look to see if it
is already there.]
