Emacs version : Buffers GNU Emacs 20.3.1 (sparc-sun-solaris2.6, X toolkit)
of Thu Aug 27 1998 on tensor.vnet.net
It seems to think that `M' (uppercase M)
is the <Meta> key, and I have to type a C-q M to get an uppercase M.
This happens under X-Windows and on a putty terminal from win2000,
so I don't think it's a terminal or xmodmap issue.
Anyone?
