That's not true: Info-index _does_ try to take you to the item you are
looking for, but it doesn't always work.  It works when the string you
typed at `i's prompt is literally included in the text.  But when what
you typed is not part of the text, it won't work.

That's because Info-index looks for the text you typed after getting
to the node mentioned in the index.

To see that this is indeed so, type "i find-file-literally RET".
