"kill-buffer" Issue

From: Thomas Riekert
Subject: "kill-buffer" Issue
Date: Thu, 30 Jan 2003 15:54:01 -0800 (PST)

This bug report will be sent to the Free Software Foundation,
not to your local site managers!
Please write in English, because the Emacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.

Your bug report will be posted to the bug-gnu-emacs@gnu.org mailing list,
and to the gnu.emacs.bug news group.

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:

If EMACS has multiple file buffers open, and the "kill-buffer"
key sequence is performed on the current buffer displayed, and
the cursor then happens to be positioned next to a paren or bracket
in the next buffer in line to be displayed, it is then necessary to
physically move the cursor away from the paren or bracket to be
able to perform another "kill-buffer" key sequence again on the next
buffer.

This may not be a bug, but it the extra mouse work to get around the
problem is annoying.
