Crash on startup with 2008-02-07 CVS

It's on an up-to-date, stable version of Ubuntu (Gutsy Gibbon), I can
send any config output you want. It's been crashing similarly
(couldn't say whether it's exact) for a few days now. If someone could
tell me how to compile a debug version, I could give more info.
