Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I found your address in the file TODO of grub4dos-0.4.6a. Grub4dos is quite important, because it gives the opportunity to start linux unter windows keeping the windows boot- loader. Correct me, when I say something wrong. There is a menu (preset_menu.lst), whose content is part of the compilation. It appears, when you start grldr. The default timeout in this file is 1. After this time the content of the file menu.lst appears, which can be con- figured without any compilation. From there you can choose your operation system. This works well, but the preset_menu.lst is visible for one second, which is not necessary and produces a kind of "splash". Even if the timeout in preset_menu.lst is set to 0, this splash remains (shorter). Is there an opportunity to completely hide the content of preset_menu.lst,
so that there is only the content of menu.lst ?

Yours sincerely
C.Mielech
