Hi Felix
Glad to see you working on this. I am afraid to tell you that I won't
have debian now, so I cannot help you with things that are related to
debian.
However I will fork the git repo, you can push the patch on your
development branch and I will pull the changes. Let me know if this is
fine, maybe I can test the changes and let you know.
