Hi,
I have checked out, compiled and installed guile-core
from cvs.
I can not get either cvs guile-oops or guile-oops-0.1.8.tar.gz
to compile on this machine.
It stops with
gcc -DHAVE_SCM_SIMPLE_FORMAT=1 -DHAVE_SCM_SHARED_ARRAY_ROOT=1 -DSCM_MUTEX_INIT_TWO_ARGS=1
-I. -I. -g -O2 -I/usr/local/include -Wall -Wpointer-arith -Wmissing-prototypes
-c -fPIC -DPIC goops.c -o .libs/goops.lo
goops.c: In function `sort_applicable_methods':
goops.c:1947: warning: assignment of read-only location
goops.c: In function `scm_init_goops':
goops.c:2816: warning: implicit declaration of function `scm_select_module'
goops.c:2843: invalid lvalue in assignment
goops.c:2844: invalid lvalue in assignment
goops.c:2845: invalid lvalue in assignment
goops.c:2846: invalid lvalue in assignment
make: *** [goops.lo] Error 1
which would seem to be a version mismatch problem. What is the latest
version of guile that cvs guile-oops works with?
