I downloaded the archive gush-0.0b.tar.gz from
http://www.glug.org/people/ttn/software/gush/ and built it successfully.
Whenever I try to run gush, however, I get the following error:
Initializing Guile... ERROR: In procedure set-current-module:
ERROR: Wrong type argument in position 1 (expecting MODULEP): #<module
(guile) 8085990>
I also noticed that none of the files in the tar archive were more recent
than 1998, despite the fact that the changelog available at the above
website
lead me to believe otherwise.
Any help appreciated.
generally, the changelog is more live than the versioned tarballs. gush
has suffered bit-rot compounded by underlying platform (guile) interface
instability. the development sources are presently on an unconnected
hard disk, else i'd offer to send them to you (or publish a snapshot).
unfortunately, i don't expect to find time for gush for a few months at
least.
