There is no secret plan.  Marcus has laid out numerous times the things
that we have to work on.  There are many things to do in getting the system
working better on its current foundation irrespective of long-term future
directions.  This is a spare-time project for all of us.  I foresee more
work than I have time to do for long enough that I'm not interested in
projecting a lot further.

I didn't say "shut up", I said "less talking and more hacking".  The
talking to hacking ratio is way too high around here.  I'll have more to
say and more interest in reading long email exchanges if there is active
work going on in some concrete direction or other.  Don't worry about
stepping on my toes; I don't care.  I'd just like not to have what little
brain time the Hurd gets from the world too bogged down in speculative
discussions when there is so much real code that we could all be writing.
