Hi:

I'm testing the image in Qemu, but the installer doesn't boot: when I press "text install", the machine simply reboots.

Have you tested the installer?

I have also put it on
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/ports/latest/hurd-amd64/current/

where it won't be overwritten by newer daily images.
