Follow-up Comment #4, bug #62858 (project make):

IMO as I said earlier if you want the official 4.3 release it's best to just
build it from the downloaded source, not from Git: it's much easier / more
stable / more reliable.

However, current gnulib does support setting a gnulib SHA reference that will
be used by bootstrap when pulling gnulib content to avoid these kinds of
mismatches; I'll look into adding this so that we don't hit this issue in
future releases.
