The bootdisk uses a very strange method of booting... it
doesn't use a boot loader (it uses the kernel's own anicent
bootstrap stuff)

Basically, the boot disk sucks, and I'm waiting for a volunteer
to make a nice system for me, so I can run a script, and
I get versions of the boot disk cross-compiled for all supported
platforms, with up-to-date busybox, kernel, etc.  Also, there
would be support for external driver disks, etc.

I don't really have much time to maintain boot
disks.  Also, it seems like it should be "someone elses job",
because programs other than Parted need similar systems.
(Eg: distro installers)

Any ideas?
