parted question

Hi,

In http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/USER you say:

>Unfortunately, the boot disk doesn't support a very wide range of hardware.

Well - that's the case for me (scsi disk).

>If your hard disk isn't supported, then:
>(1) Boot off the Parted boot disk.
>(2) Insert another (formatted) floppy disk.
>(3) Mount the floppy disk. ("mount -t ext2 /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy" or
>"mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy")

And that's the problem. When I try to mount the floppy with vfat filesystem
ich get a message that vfat is not supported by the kernel on the boot disk.
And since I don't have a running Linux system at the moment (i trashed my
partition table... shame on me!!) I'm unable to create an ext2 fs floppy
since there are no mkfs tools on the floppy as fell.
So I wanted to ask if you could help me on that one and provide the parted
executeable along with the stuff in /lib/ in another way (mail,
download...).

Thank you very much!!
Bye, Tom - who's really missing his penguin.
