The type of the file system is FAT32.
Volume DISK2PART01 created 1/3/2002 4:23 PM
Volume Serial Number is 3C34-D123
Windows is verifying files and folders...
File and folder verification is complete.
Windows has checked the file system and found no
problem.
   78,135,232 KB total disk space.
390,336 KB in 465 hidden files.
       55,104 KB in 1,710 folders.
   14,085,440 KB in 28,278 files.
   63,604,320 KB are available.

32,768 bytes in each allocation unit.
2,441,726 total allocation units on disk.
1,987,635 allocation units available on disk.

CHKDSK has NOT checked this drive for errors.
You must use SCANDISK to detect and fix errors on this
drive.

Volume DISK2PART01 created 01-03-2002 4:23p
Volume Serial Number is 3C34-D123

   78,135,232 kilobytes total disk space
   63,710,720 kilobytes free

32,768 bytes in each allocation unit
2,441,726 total allocation units on disk
1,990,960 available allocation units on disk

      655,360 total bytes memory
      615,200 bytes free

Instead of using CHKDSK, try using SCANDISK. SCANDISK
can reliably detect
and fix a much wider range of disk problems.

I have also attached the results of scandisk from W98.
I had to save the results as
a window capture in GIF format, because it would not
let me copy the text.
