Well, my gparted support fast 16 and fat 32.

You're quite right, Fat 16 does have a 32Mb minimum, not 16Mb .. (i.e. it get's worse!)
And Fat32 has a 256Mb minimum !

What get's really interesting is that these limits appear in 0.0.9-pre, they were both 8Mb in 0.0.8 !

So I guess my question still remains, any chance we can dispense with these arbitrary limitations which detract from what looks like a very nice piece of software ?

I would very much like to use it as part of the distro .. if physically possible ..
