striped SATA will segfault qtparted

Hi,

qtparted 0.4.4   (Knoppix 4.0.2 CD boot) will crash on a SATA striped disk.

We have Shuttle XPC SB81P with two SATA disk setted up as striped, using 
Intel chip set driver.
(ICH6R RAID 0 configuration).

I started qtparted coming up with UNIONFS/dev/sda and UNIONFS/dev/sdb 
for two drives.
When I click on sda1, it crashed and emitted the message "Please report 
to bug-parted".

I think that qtparted should not crash, but should emit some message 
saying that the disk is
striped?

My wish is that "qtparted" partitions a striped disk set.

P.S. I'm actually glad that Knoppix recognized the SATA drives (WinXP 
cannot recognize
SATA drives without loading a driver from "floppy"address@hidden).
