No, but the out line is preceded by that same "1b5b 3f31 3033 3468" 
sequence of bytes.  I have no idea where it's coming from.

# bash --version | head -1

# parted --version | head -1
parted (GNU parted) 1.8.7
# grep Yes t0000-basic.sh | xxd
0000000: 5965 732f 4e6f 3f20 790a                 Yes/No? y.
