Eventually someone will do it.
Well, I hope to do this sometime.  It'll certainly keep things easier
for us to have these fixes upstream.

It'd be great to have the patch and tests in the next couple days,
since I hear we're expecting to cut a stable release by Friday.
Please let us know if you can do that.  Otherwise, someone else
will plan to do it.


Kenny is away on holiday from today so it is probable (but not certain as he has been known to logon and get on with these things....) that the patch won't be ready by Friday.
