I had a quick look at it.
The embedded unit test functions are pretty limited and far away from allowing 
a test-driven development approach.
But I will make use of them as far as I can.

These wget perl scripts are just for verifying the CLI options !?

But anyway: a test suite design has to be made yet - it would be useful for 
wget. Is there any volunteer here who likes to help doing that ???
