The opposite, I think.
Rather than having ls only able to display 1 or 2 columns due to extremely long
filenames,
and then to dump absolutely everything into one directory, I split out the
interactive tests
to make them easier to manage as a group from Makefile.am, and to be able to
navigate around
with the usual cd/ls/zile some-test routine.
AFAIR you didn't move them all back afterwards, so any that are not in a
subdirectory by
now were probably overlooked when I renamed them several months ago.
