Ah.  It's an "I've made some changes, so please review for errors" thing.
OK.  "looking like it's my error" isn't an issue, but caution is.  Thanks.

Now a curiosity question:  How did you get git to do this:

 tests/{misc/fmt => fmt/base}                |    0
 tests/fmt/goal-option                       |   56 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++
 tests/{misc/fmt-long-line => fmt/long-line} |    0

When I did it, it showed all lines in tests/misc/fmt deleted and
all lines in tests/fmt/base added, though elsewhere it did say
the file moved.  I did use "git mv" to move it, too.  Not critical,
just bizarre.  :)
