Hi,
The colors are specified in /etc/DIR_COLORS and /etc/DIR_COLORS.256color.
You can configure this file to your own preference, according with the file
type.
This configuration is, usually, distribute with the RPM or DEB package of
your distro, each one can have a configuration.
