I discovered that Automotive Grade Linux reverts the upstream change in their
distribution of coreutils:
https://download.automotivelinux.org/AGL/release/koi/11.0.0/qemux86-64/deploy/sources/x86_64-agl-linux/coreutils-8.31-r0/disable-ls-output-quoting.patch
