I think it's something like a packet sequencing error. I looked it up in the 
code at one point but it was a while ago.

What version of UHD are you using? I have seen the S in "older" UHD's on the 
E100 and cleared the problem up by using the most recent UHD release (with 
corresponding FPGA images).

If you are doing custom FPGA work, you should start from the most recent 
release.
