I am an extreme newb, but I had to install gr-osmocom and rtl_sdr separately following this recipe:

But as I said I have 1 week of GNURADIO under my belt so far.

I just ran build-gnuradio on my Fedora 14, x64 machine, and it ran to completion, including building
  gr-osmosdr, and rtl-sdr, and UHD.
