You cant be the only one who has compiled 3.7 w/ 13.04. Anyone else have
success w/ 13.04. Unfortunately I have not upgraded my system yet :-)

If 13.04 gcc is really going to complain like this: recompile with -fPIC
, then FWIW, the CMakeLists.txt could look like this to fix the issue:
