Hm, I must say I am affraid of screwing version that works, and had problems to make it work.

The TestCase class in unittest module at my computer doesn't implement the functions like assertGreater, like is the case with 2.7 python under ubuntu.

I think Python 2.6 works, too. Surprised that your make test fails,
though. Just go ahead and try.
