You're not looking very hard at the browsers people are actually using.
According to the stats on one of the web sites I manage, Lynx is the fifth
most-used browser. Links is number 14, behind _wget_.
And most of the viewers of the site are using _Windows_. Having a site
useful in lynx is still important.
